I am so amazed at the potential of this child and it is only because I watched Waterproof Kids and Waterproof kids baby steps. Since I watched this video I have personally taught a 5 month old infant how to swim and roll over onto their back. Julie from www.lessonswithjuie.com :) Gaylene Anderson shows a variety of ages of children from infants all the way up to swim team material. This video has inspired me as a swim instructor to really get the "little peron" to be more comfortable in the water to start swimming lessons. My wife thought this DVD was well done and was easy to follow. Highly recommended.
Ironically, in doing so he has learned much faster. In the past 3-4 weeks we have made about 8-10 trips to the Gym pool and he has learned so much. My wife was sure we needed to pay for swim lessons. I bought this DVD, and my four-year old went from being a little nervous about blowing bubbles with his nose and mouth in the water, to going completely under water and getting his Spiderman diving sticks off the steps with no problem. In addition to showing me what to teach, the DVD taught me be more patient, letting the skills emerge gradually.
The instructor is great. A great video to learn the basics of swimming. This is a great video to start your child swimming on. She starts off teaching babies how to swim and goes on up to adults.
Like the title say.this video concentrate on guidelines for parents to familiazied kids with water, floating, some swimming technique for all ages. Recommended.
